Cindy Lemon
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and CopWife for 20+ years.
After helping hundreds of first responders and their family members in my practice, I realized that I was using the same education and skills with all my first responders over and over again, and they were getting better.
While the results may look like magic, they are not. They are just the result of learning how the job affects them and the right skills to turn down the hypervigilance flames and live better lives.
I knew that more first responders had to have this information, so CopProof (Help The Helpers, LLC) was born.
I've been joined on this mission by Sgt Clifton Phelps to lead the skills training and assist in the peer support teams' monthly coaching.
My cyber cop husband, Det. Mike Lemon (retired) has built out the online system, which allows every agency to use our CopProof Peer Support System to change their culture and futures no matter where they are in the US.
